In 2006 Ertsos grows Atalanta Marine range of activities, making it golden. Atalanta Golden Yachts is born out the collaboration of Atalanta Marine & Golden Yachts shipyard, to become the market leader in the management, sales and chartering of over 40m yachts.

An avid sailor, Ertsos started his sports career in 1968, with optimists. He then continued with 420, Lightning, 470, Soling and Star boats. He won many Greek championships in all the above categories as well as 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal at races in the Balkans. At the same time, he obtained many victories at International Yachting weeks as was the 1st victory at Anzio and Split, in the 470 category. When he abandoned the 470 he turned to other Olympic categories such as Soling and Star where he won respectively Greek championships and 1st place in the Star category in 1983. In 1988, as a skipper of the Okyalos Team, he achieves 1st place in the World Championship with yachts of ¾ tons, in Elba, Italy, victory that was repeated the following year in 1989 when the race was held in Athens. In 1990 in Sweden,  he takes the 1st place once again in 1 tone class. The following years, he obtains various victories in Greek and World championships.

George is the person who introduced the meaning of luxury and professional yachting  in Greece. As president of Atalanta Marine, Ertsos is involved in day-to-day operations and sales, continually maintaining stellar relationships with clients and industry professionals, holding tight to his high moral & ethical standards and insisting to invest to people and relationships.

Along with sailing, Dimitris studied physics & mathematics at the University of Athens and mechanical engineering at the National Technical University of Athens.  

With a passion for being on the water and the active lifestyle that accompanies boating, Deligiannis joined Atalanta Marine in 1996. Today, as a Managing Partner he enjoys the privilege of turning his passion into business.

With more decades of industry expertise, Skoulikidis joined Atalanta Marine as a shareholder in 2006 and later the same year became the CEO of Atalanta Golden Yachts. A testament to Skoulikidis dedication to professional, high-quality yachting services in Greece and the eastern Mediterranean, Skoulikidis has also been President of the Greek Yachting Association since 2013.
